My experience involves supporting people of all ages therapeutically. In addition to a background in teaching I also have extensive experience as a counsellor in a bereavement service; supporting people as a pastoral care worker; facilitating psychological groups with Merseycare; counselling in a pregnancy crisis centre and caring for people with mental and physical disabilities.
I run my own private counselling practice in peaceful offices in the Sefton Park area of Liverpool, which are easily accessible by car and public transport. I am a Person-centred counsellor, which means that I focus on whatever you bring to counselling sessions without pressure or judgment. No issue is too small or too big to bring if it is an area where support or change is needed with the help of counselling.
I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (no.241196). I have a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and a Bachelor of Education (Hons) degree. I am also a qualified counselling supervisor CSAccred (AAC). I am fully insured and receive regular supervision to ensure good practise.
